Beauty Aides from the Kitchen Aide

The Winter is naturally drying out my skin, it happens.  So I would like to share with you a few things that can help, right from the kitchen.
  1st:  Baking Soda
Use a bit with your facial cleanser, to use as a gentle scrub. (Can also be used with body wash for all over body scrub)
Add a dab to your toothpaste for extra whitening.
Hair Coloring went a little too dark for you?
 Add some to your shampoo.
  2nd: Peroxide
Yes, you can cleanse pores with peroxide. Just rinse with cool water.
Also good for teeth whitening. As well as a gargle.
Pour some  on a splinter to help work it out.
   3rd: Eggs
Yes, we have all heard about the washing your hair with eggs...although I have never tried this one. I was always afraid of having scrambled egg in my hair. However, I found you can beat an egg in a small bowl, apply to face, and while still wet, apply single ply tissue over, allow to dry till it hardens.  Peel off, like those pore strips. Really works.
Eggs can be used as a general facial mask, alone, or with honey.  More "Facial" recipes to come.

  1. Oatmeal mask, or scrub. Both?
Sugar and Lemon Scrub. Ginger and sugar scrub. Cucumber juice, very refreshing. Coconut milk. Bananas mask. Avacodo masks, Vitamin E. Many, many more.
